Students are able to study Irish or Classical flute.  

 

 

instruments for small children  

Small students should start on a flute built to fit small players.  

To decide if your son or daughter needs a curved headjoint, measure from the length of the upper arm from the point of the shoulder to the point of the elbow.  If the length is less than 24.5 cm, a curved headjoint is recommended.




lesson scheduling                                   

The following lesson lengths are recommended:
 
* 30 minutes (beginners/students under the age of 12)
* 45 minutes (intermediate students, aged 12 and up)
* 60 minutes (advanced students, exam/audition preparation)
