| amy o'neill -
Irish flute, bodhrán, step dance |

Born and raised near London ON, Amy completed a music degree (classical
flute) at the University of Western Ontario before being introduced to
the world of Trad. While still keeping one foot firmly planted in the
classical music world, her heart and soul belong to the traditional
dance tunes and airs of the Ireland, Scotland and Brittany.
Equally at home in a rollicking pub session or playing piccolo in an
orchestra, her ebullient personality comes through in her playing and
makes her a favourite of audiences
everywhere.

| alice boyle -
fiddle, viola |
 A
native of Winnipeg, Alice began playing string instruments as a child
and pursued a professional career as a violist for many years before
making a dramatic shift into the world of fiddling. Having
left the classical world behind, Alice began playing fiddle music only
five years ago while completing a PhD in biology at the University of
Arizona. She quickly embraced the new approaches, techniques,
and above all, spirit of traditional Irish, Scottish, old-time, and
contra-dance fiddle music. She has been an active and central
feature of sessions, festivals, dances, and bands in Tucson, Kansas,
Colorado and London ever since. The energy and joy that Alice
infuses into each tune wins the hearts of audiences wherever she plays.
